Batman’s milk mustache

Milk Bar
3 Bateman street, Soho, London, UK

Hip Australian café just over Chinatown. Rich, intense ristretto espresso (I rarely tasted such good coffee) and sweet soy chai, a creamy and delicious treat!

Total of 5 pounds, perfect little spot to wait for the French mass to end at nearby Notre-Dame church, where Cocteau’s paintings are not to be missed.

Minus: no bathrooms. Dangerous situation in a café where one is likely to go for seconds and thirds.

Plus: apart from the amazing coffee, one of the expert barista there has the most awesome moustache (thus the weird mnemotechnic title). See exhibit A.
